Satin is in pretty darn good shape for his age! While his feet were overgrown, it had only been about 6 weeks since his last farrier trim. He shows some white line separation, but plenty of sole and reasonably healthy frogs. His feet should shape up quickly with good trimming!

09-08-08

Satin's been getting his feet soaked, and his frogs look happier. Hi front feet are becoming much more round, with the widest part of the hoof farther back where it belongs. But he is still retaining a lot of sole at the toe, so I've gotten more aggressive bringing the toe back from the top, and added a toe rocker.
