TravisBLM Mustang gelding 06-18-08 Everybody talks about mustang feet, and while it's true that they are spectacular feet in their natural environment, it doesn't usually take too long for traditional horsekeeping, feed, and farriery to really mess up a good thing. Travis, however, has some pretty spectacular feet in spite of all those things. They are HUGE feet for a horse his size, his frogs measure over 3 inches wide at the heel, and he has excellent concavity. His heels were long, though, giving him a club-shaped foot. He should respond beautifully to his new trim! 07-17-08 Some thrush issues, but other than that, Travis held his trim balance nicely.
